Cute one Nanny!

Burn, thanks for starting the new thread! That coconut feeder sure brings back a lot of memories of this past winter!!

Great pics on this thread everyone...I have been negligent in my participation! I am trying to play catch-up!

Our Bluebirds have fledged...I think early this morning. I did not get to see the great event but Papa was still feeding last night. Here is a picture of them when they were nine days old! There were originally 5 eggs but only 2 of them hatched.

I hope the ones that fledged will show up someday also! I will clean out the nestbox and hope the parents build another one. Here's another that showed up!

Well, I have more pics to post but for some reason they are not going through...they are resized but not showing up. I will try later.

I have so enjoyed looking at everyones photos everyday though I have been sooo busy lately with family stuff I really haven't had time to post. Tomorrow I find out if my daughter & son-in-law will be moving to New Mexico. I really hope so. :-)

Year after year the Gambel's Quail just tug on my heartstrings. There was a large family group getting a drink this morning. I love how they stay together as a family and how protective the parents are.

Here are 4 of the babies bringing up the rear as they were leaving.
