Nats on house plants!
They're probably fungus gnats, and most likely you're watering your plants a little bit too much. I have never had problems with fungus gnats except when I was keeping things a little too wet. In addition to cutting back on water, there are a number of other things that people have posted that they say helps to control them--putting a bit of hydrogen peroxide in the water when you do water, yellow sticky traps, putting gravel on top of the soil, and using Bt (Bacillus thuringiensis...it's the same stuff that's in Mosquito Dunks) are the ones that I remember but I think there were a few others as well. But if you don't fix the watering, they're much more likely to keep coming back.
ecrane, thanks I'll adjust my watering somewhat.
I use one quarter of a Mosquito dunk in my watering can. Lasts a long time. It kills the larvae in the soil. I use sticky traps and sundews to get the adults.
