I have a conservatory and I am going to plant some Carica Papayas there. Can someone tell me how to care for them?

Hello!

I have read that for germinating papaya seeds you need coarse horticultural sand. Since they dont sell that here is the some substitution of coarse horticultural sand?

You could use any coarse horticultural grit or perlite.The main purpose is for the sand substitute to contain some small pebbles so it will not compact and for the material you are using to be free of a lot of dust or lime like you would find in builders sand.My preference for this purpose would be perlite.
