When do daylilies begin to bloom? I live in Salt Lake City, Utah and my plants are fully grown, but don't seem interested in putting out any flowers. When do they normally get going? By the way, I'm in zone 6b, I believe.
About blooming daylilies?
My some of my daylilies have buds, but no blossoms yet. Usually they start getting buds as the daffodils and tulips lose their blossoms. This spring has been particularly cold and wet for us in the Midwest.
Mine bloomed out for the first time today--but about three days ago I didn't even see a bud. They came quick.
As we approach July you should see scapes appearing. Only my early daylilies are blooming now.
mine have not bloomed yet but I am beginning to see buds on a few of the plants
