I planted two huge Mums last fall, but they still have not emerged this spring. Are they still alive or did I lose them to winter? They were well mulched with leaves from the trees and I just removede that about two or three weeks ago.
Should my Mums be up by now?
They are probably gone. Dig down very gently to see if you can find any green shoots.
My mums are up. Usually I plant cuttings about 4th of July before they start getting leggy. With a late spring, I may wait a few weeks this year.
I don't have any, but my neighbor does and hers are up. Not blooming, of course, but they have a good amount og greenery.
