Hello.. I finally got some Welwitschia mirabilis seeds. But I dont know which media is the best for them. The information I've got is that the root are not supposed to be too wet or they will rot and the plant will die.
The reference I've read recomend a perlite, but those are not common media in my country. I have already got experience growing lava rock with Lithops, It is very fast draining, but it also very fast to dry which W.mirabilis wont like. It also got not enought compact to support plants.
How about the organic content in the soil? Is there any problem if I plant it in the rich soil?
W.mirabilis media?
