I bought some dragon's blood sedum seeds on E-Bay and now don't know what to do with them. They are so fine. It says to mix them with sand. I am in Zone 7b and in the middle of a drought. I would like to get them started and then perhaps transplant them in the fall. Is that a stupid idea? I am really new at this. I have some old baker's racks with full size sheet cake pans that I have used to germinate seeds and then have transplanted the plants into 2" peat pots. Thanks for helping this rookie!
What to do with Sedum seeds
Hey I have two kinds of sedums but I didn't know that there were sedum seeds! Go to the Cactus and Succulent Forum. Maybe they san help you. good luck.
Smokey
I saw sedum seeds on e-bay too and I was tempted. I'm trying to grow it some a ground cover and the $6 a piece for each little 3" x 3" plant isn't going to work. So far I'm just dividing and waiting. I'm interested to know what kind of results you get!
