onewish1,
I just printed my directions off Map Quest
Well, if I get energetic this morning, it will be a total of 60 brownies. If I don't get energetic, you guys will have to share 48 brownies.
LOL!
I don't have the address.... maquest is not going to work
:)
ok thank you
I am so sorry for not dmailing you... I feel asleep trying to send it to you... yes, the garage is "clean" not greatly organized... and maybe my garden will look ok if you guys overlook the areas that are not going to be clean... the mulch I ordered has not come in... so there will be plenty of things not perfect... and I just planted some bare roots yesterday so it's going to look a bit weird... but plenty of blooms on all the Palatine and Pickering roses... and yes they are new ... I hope some will hold another day and you guys should have some good pics!!!
TOMORROW!!!!!! ooohhhhhh hooooo!!!!
One more day!!!!
Plants are potted - on to the kitchen stuff...

What kind is he?
Just finished baking the oatmeal raisin cookies!
Bought ingredients for dill dip and carrots, celery, cherry tomatoes. (I think that's all.) I have the dip growing (from seed) out back. Wish I'd gotten green peppers - I was distracted by the lilies for sale! (And the cop who was telling me all about wisteria, and the garden lady who was trying to convince me that all the lilies were the same, and my learner's permit daughter who was learning to negotiate a parking lot.)
We just call them garter snakes, but that may not be accurate. His name is Sammy, as in Sammy Snake. We have a few Sammies around here. What surprised me was that he usually hits the road whenever I get near, but today, I looked up and there he was lounging ON the leaves of my Wild Mustang Daylily just a foot away from where I was working. There was also an enormous amount of construction happening on the front porch nearby with loud noise and much vibration from the table saw. I guess he was doing his Wild Mustang impression for me.....fearless! Since I know he isn't poisonous or aggressive, I would rather have him chilling where I can see him than slithering around the plants I'm working around. It's the surprise factor I don't like! He did offer a few comments on a couple of the lily of the valley plants I was trying to make presentable. The heavy rain bent a couple of stems and I was debating whether to leave them home. He "wagged" at me, so I put them in the car anyway since their root structure should send out some more leaves just as soon as they are in the ground......I think. LOL
I haven't seen a "Sammy' in years. I miss them. Yours is so cute. For some reason snakes don't bother me at all, but spiders? eeewwww.
Have a great RU ya'll. The food sounds fantastic and I bet you folks are going to have a blast. Take lots of pics to post for those of us down yonder.
Louise, it does look like what's called a common garter.
Eleanor, I love snakes and spiders but roaches? Screeeech!
Snakes rock! and spiders eat flies but I don't like roaches.
I wish you were coming, Laurel!! Maybe a fall trip to New England for the foliage and a RU???? Hope so!!
Thanks for the ID on Sammy!!!
well I made the cupcakes & the pie... all that's left to do is frost the little dears
then I am going to pass out... CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU ALL!!!!
Me too!

I make four.
Louise, DH and I can't tell you how much we'd love to be in New England in the Fall. When do you trek back South?
Have a wonderful time everyone and I'll be thinking of you.
