Patricia. . .sounds like you've had your share! At least you have those beautiful flowers to look at. The AV is spectacular. I inherited one at work that is not blooming but growing well, so we'll see. My ligularia has a bloom coming as well, and I only planted it a few months ago! I'm very excited but it looks like you're a bit ahead of me. Please keep posting so I can see what to expect. It sure is strange, the way they bloom, isn't it? Love the lilies and the girls look quite happy.

Done for tonight. We are babysitting a bichon named Mandy and I will post a picture tomorrow. We have her until the 14th. We are all getting along so far.

That fuchsia is lovely, as is your begonia and that purple oxalis. How do you keep them so healthy?

Three little girsl. Hope you're all having a slumber party tonight (are they getting their nails done? LOL).

Looking forward to pictures.

Hi Willow,
Gorgeous flowers, that last one is Catananche caerulea or more commonly Cupids Dart, I love them too. I have the white ones with the dark purple center!

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Love the pics Willow, is the Anemone a perennial? I like it. I can't get Gloriosa to grow here, had some really nice ones when I live in Port Orchard.
And the Bach. Button Sorry to say, But its a Mountain Cornflower (centaurea montana)

Bea, beautiful glad.
cocoa, thanks for the info.
Tils, Well I guess you would know since it came from you, but it looks like what we have always called a bb. They are under the same name in SWGB anyway. The Anemone is a perennial. I have it in white also. It spreads but is so tall and whispy that it looks good throughout the flower bed.

BeaHive, that is one stunning glad.
Here is Wild Horses daylily. I didn't know I had it but it is an eyecatcher as people pass by.

Finally a bloom. This thing only blooms in the fall. It is intertwined with a virginia creeper.

Nice picture. I really love the picture of Amber taking a bite of "her" grass. That's definitely frame-worthy.

So it sounds like your place is the sleepover house - it sounds like Mindy and Amber are always willing to welcome visitors. Good girls!!
