I planted some acorn squash and I have a couple of questions about it.
First off how do I know when to pick it?? I have one that's the size of a softball and it's dark green all over except it's still a little white on the bottom. Should I leave it a few more days or pick it now??
Second the plant itself has a few little furry/hairy sections on it. Is this normal or is mold or mildew?? What do I do about it?? It's even on one of the squash.
Thanks!
Amanda
Acorn squash...Help please!
The ground spot on acorn squash should be bright orange and the rind very hard before you pick it.
