Peace Lilly-white spots

Alma, GA

I have adopted a Peace Lilly at work and have been taking care of it. Every since I started I noticed little white spots on the leaves. It looks like water spots on the top of the leaves. I have read a lot of helpful information on this page, but I haven't read anything pertaining to this. It is not water spots. Does this plant have a disease or something?? It looks healthy besides that.

Another thing I just noticed this morning is that on a couple of leaves, the VERY tip of them has turned brown and a bit crisp. I keep it watered every 6-8 days. What do I need to do about this?

This question may sound silly, but when do you know when to repot?? When it looks real cramped in the pot?? Thanks for the help in advance and sorry for all the questions. :)

The white spots may be from the sun - do you have it in any sun?
Mine does not like anything more then filtered light.. I keep it far from windows.
Do you see any new growth? When mine puts out new growth it does loose some of the older leaves.. they turn brown & I cut them off.
I usually re-pot when the plants seem to be cramped, some plants do like to be root bound though and I do believe the Peace lily is one of them. If you do re-pot just go up 1 size and it should do good.
Good luck!

It's agout 15 feet from the windows. But our windows here at work are all the way across the front of the building and they are tinted. There is new growth in the plant, so that would explain the brown spots. Thanks!!
