yesterday I found what I think were squash bugs ( they looked like what we called stink bugs when we were kids) on my zuccinni plants, then today I found these underneath several leaves I have no idea what they are but if they are eggs I need to know how to get rid of them. I've been watering every two days and have been using worm tea every other watering I noticed tonight also that a lot of the lower leaves were yellowing.

OMG it is as I feared those little brown spheres on the underside of the leaves are the eggs.

Hanging out the sign "gone hunting" squash bugs!

Yep, those are squash bug eggs. Either scrape them off into a bag for the trash or just remove that part of the leaf with them and put in the trash. You'll need to hand pick the hatch-out ones when you find them.

I did the above and bug files recommended sevin dust
....so you guessed it. yep the squash bugs got dusted as soon as I got home from work

usually when you find the eggs, the parent bugs have been and gone and what you have is the next generation ready to do the same, either use a spray that is organic or as stated, scrape them off but destroy the eggs as you dont want them to hatch and infest your next plants or your neighbours, in the evening at this time of year, it is always a good time to walk among your veg etc and lift up the leaves just to check them over as you can usually spot the trouble before it gets too bad, good luck. I dusted with sevin and did as instructed ,however I'm noticing some leaves turning yellow. Associated with the bugs?
