Changed the title to include foliage, bark and anything else worth a photo! Also, it's almost summer so we may as well remove the season.

I should follow you around all day, everything you send is a painting, I love it when they happen. Like the cat and the geraniums.
Here is the Vibernum with NOID Rose growing into it Victor style.

wow this site was busy yesterday!! Kinda like Pixie and her mom - cold up there in ME!!

Victor/RedChic - I have satomi and the flowers are not close to yours. they are white with some pick on the edge (if you really squinted). Did your start out like this? I have a stick satomi waiting to grow up and saw this one (4') at HD last year so I grabbed it (cheap $$).

Hi Victor! Looked around for informtion on Sambucus "Black Lace" last night and I saw you, laurawedge, Don Shirer, BigCityAl and others haven't had the best results as of last September.

http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/773648/

How is it looking this year? Do you or anyone else have photos?

(Yes before investigating throughly, I succumbed to the hype and 1 sambucus nigra "Black Lace" will be here shortly).

Btw....fall planting Heptacodium worked out great. Photo on the left taken Sept 23 2007, right photo on June 7th

Thanks Jo Ann. I am doing that with one of my noid native roses. I'm growing it ip my crapr myrtle.

Bill - no, once my Satomi flowered, it was always deep pink in color.

Hi David! Great to hear about the heptacodium. I have a nice clematis growing up mine right now. Mine is huge now. 15 feet high by at least 10 feet wide. Yes, my Black Lace is looking better this year. Here's a pic from last week.

Hey, you take what you can get. Special thanks to NisiNJ who usually posts on MidAtlantic forum gave me a car load of plants. I found she lives only 6 miles away.
She gave me impatiens( a whole flat), begonias, tomatoes( a whole flat), strawberry, jalapeno, a bunch of petunias(2 types), verbena, squash. I have the id's but it's too hot to go back outside.

Those dark purple "Million Bells" are a find.
I wanted that color but only found oranges and creams.

I felt bad I had nothing to offer in return, I told her I'd owe her...it was too hot to bake! Forgot to mention she gave me some marigolds, also.

I thought gardening would be easy. No work just plant and watch them grow. I never figured on my record keeping.
