I saw on one of the forums can't remember where. Some of you were putting terra cotta or unglazed pots near your plants, you would fill with water and it would slowly water the plants. I know there was a lid on top but was the hole plugged so it slowly came out the sides. Any help appreciated. deanna
Terra cotta pots for self watering?
I am one of those using terracotta to get water to the roots of the plants. Remember those terracotta wine bottle holders? That is what I am using and I am covering them with a terracotta saucer. Google "olla" that is what I am trying to mimic.
Edited to say, there is no hole in the bottom.
