Noid Iris
Spring Blooms - Part 13
Nice blue petunia Celeste.
Incredible blue on that petunia, Celeste!
deb-Rio Samba is one of my favorite roses...eventually, I will get one!
Congratulations on the baby!
Victor-Once all of the trees that I have, are planted, I want to eventually place some Clems like you have, around the trees/shrubs. I did that at my parents home. They have a rather large dwarf weeping cherry that has a no id white clem, and Jackmaani (sp?) growing throughout it. I think I want to get something a little bit more bold, like one of the giant (20+ feet) to grow up it...the dwarf weeping cherry at their home is about 20' tall or so!
Best for that are the montanas, Thom. They bloom in early spring and don't need any pruning.
What is the Oso Peachy flower?
Victor-the vendor that sells the clems that you recommend, what is her site?
Celeste, I might have to get that rose, really nice.
Oso is a rose. Silver Star Vinery is the clem source.
Great color on that one, Celeste.
I have been thinking about siberian irises.
Thank you, another for my list :-)
Wow, this is way too active. Feels like a chat room!
I had that raspbery petunia last year, couldn't find it this year.
love that dybbuk!
Nice shot, dybbuk! Foliage shots are okay too. I should change the thread name.
Love the foliage on that 'Majestic Butterfly'!!!
We hit 5 mil over 79,000 posts ago.
I know - it happened over Memorial Day weekend, Deb.
Was it as fun as 4?
We didn't do it. It happened without us.
You must like ginkgos, dybbuk! Nice. I have a dwarf one - can't remember the name (and ginkgo is supposed to be good for memory!)
I just remembered I have to go start dinner.
What a cool looking ginko biloba!
Should I deadhead my allium???
Hee hee. Oops!
flowerjen-If you don't want them to freely seed all over the place, YES...lol. But if you like them, let them go. You will just be awarded with more next year! I had the small 'Drumstick' alliums at my parents house, they seeded one year, and were everywhere. If you like the look, keep them. If you like the look, but want them where you planted them, deadhead.
dybbuk, I love that majestic butterfly. I have variegata, but I think that I like that one better!. Victor, that's a cool shot, it looks like i'm looking up a t a giant, purple, butterfly! you knew that though already, right.
Thank you for all the warm wishes for the babies. I love "in the hanger", had a chuckle over that with DH. I'm impressed Laurel with yours being 91/2 months apart. Was your 2nd baby premature? My mom had her first three a year apart each but she was 20 years younger than I am now. She was a Grandmother by 38 and a Great Grandmother by 59. I had a different life, traveling all over the world. Now I am thrilled to raise kids and to finally have a patch of earth to settle down on and plant my flowers.
I just love looking at everyone's pictures. It's so inspiring to see what everyone is doing. Thanks again for the kind words. Sorry to go off track from gardening.
dybbuk, how tall do those Gingkos get? I love the foliage on Majestic Butterfly.
