Could you tell me what this is? It wasn't here last year but then it popped up this year and I have no idea what it is!!! Thanks for all your help.
Please help me identify this plant!
It looks like a dogwood, but they certainly don't "pop up" to that size in one season. If you had close ups of the flowers and leaves, it would help.
That is undoubtedly a dogwood. I agree with trio.... it didn't just show up this season! Hmmmmm..... wonder where it was hiding? anyhow, it's a Cornus Kousa and likely not a selected variety of it if it did get there on its own. It's a nice looking little tree!
Kousa Dogwood I believe.
Mine is in full bloom right now! LOVE that tree!
