Lemon Squash

Dallas, TX(Zone 8a)

I started seeds in March and transplanted in April (2008). I read a report that said Lemon Squash has a vining habit, so I put three of them into a flower box and intended to run them up a trellis.

Same size and shape as a small pear, slightly ribbed, bright yellow. They have a creamy, rich taste, and are about right for one meal.
