Ric, how long does it take for the flower to completely reflex?
Jen, absolutely we can trade sometime! I just recently experienced my first trades and it's so fun! I just started collecting hoyas in August of last year and back then I would read about other people trading and just wished that I had something to trade as well, so now that I do have stuff to trade, it's just great fun!

Kelly,
The obovata corolas retract a few hours after the begin to open. Its the first time I've seen the flowers look this way and that obovata blooms a lot.

My mom seems to have a way with hoyas. I gave her a big carnosa when I moved to TX that never did anything for me even though I paid it a lot of attention. Maybe that was the problem. Anyway....not long after I gave it to her, it bloomed. And it's been blooming its head off ever since! And here is the real kicker...she was showing me her blooms about a month ago, and I noticed something hanging from a nummarloides cutting I had rooted for her from my big plant. They were seed pods!! She had no idea how they got there or how long they were there. The plant was flowering when I gave it to her so I am not sure whether it got pollinated at my house or hers. I am guessing mine since it was outside then. I am collecting the seeds and will see what happens. I just can't believe her luck! Lol...

Isn't that always the way Kim?? You give plants to others and see them thrive after you slaved over them and didn't get much response... Happens to me all the time! LOL
Glad you were there at the right time to score on that seed pod, you'll have fun growing them!
I'm guessing here ....... is hoya dickasoniana one of the smallest leaved hoyas there is? So delicate looking with such a pretty little bloom!
