Very nice kellyknits, I really like the "on the way" photos, it's so exciting to see those buds forming!

Kelly,
I love your pink heuschkeliana. I wish I could have had better luck with mine. I ordered 2 cuttings from DL 2 different times and they both behaved exactly the same. Slowly shriveling up and drying...then dying. My yellow one has taken off with no problems. I'm going to have to try to find another source for the pink one.

Can't take credit for the heuschkeliana buds. They were on the cuttings when I received them, but glad they didn't blast! The linearis is just barely rooted cuttings as well and I can't believe it's budding! There are 3 peduncles now!

Am amazed at how delicate the peduncle on the sp Salweenica is! Intend to be extra careful so as not to accidentally knock it off like I did with fungii....

I do get so excited with buds! I just started collecting last fall, so I'm still pretty much a newbie!

Jen, if I can get some good growth on heuschkeliana I'll be happy to send you a cutting this fall!

Nice flowers, everyone! Sitting here soooo jealous - have a few setting buds, but no flowers yet. Keep the pics coming - they're beautiful and inspiring!!

pdoyle, no smell. Maybe self fertile.

I Love seeing all the flowers also but wish I could get some to post myself. Karen I think it may be our odd weather holding ours back, mine are just starting to set buds also.
Here is my Multiflora or maybe it's Javanica, anyway it's been blooming for probally three months as has my Lacunosa.

You know what, Jo, I think you're right - we've had the oddest weather I can remember in a long time - good point! And gives me some hope that mine will bloom sometime this summer!!

Kelly, thanks for the offer! Maybe we could do a trade sometime. I have yet to experience a trade with another hoya fan :) Well I hope your plant continues to do well regardless :)

I went away for a four days and missed three blooms that opened on H aff Finlaysoni! I caught this last one as it was already starting to fade. Good thing I grow this one for the beautiful leaves. ^_^

That's beautiful, Brenda! I have a couple small plants of that one. Hope they decide to bloom soon (though judging by the size of them, it'll be AGES)! The leaves are great, though, so I can wait. ;o)
