Two years ago I planted some tall Phlox and they didn't do much the first year but they were beautiful the next year. This year they look like they are going to be great again. My question is: I keep reading about Powdery Mildew on tall Phlox so I bought a spray bottle of Daconil and I don't know if I should spray them even if I don't see any mildew on them or do I wait until it appears.
Powdery Mildew
If you do a forum search for powdery mildew you will find other remedies using regular household ingredients other than using Daconil. I'm going to have to do a search myself because I forgot the formula. I need to do it becasue my Phlox get it every year. Daconil never seemed to help either. Maybe someone will pop in with the formula and save us the search.
