I recently found these two plants growing near a creek close to my home and was wondering what they are. This one I have no clue, Can someone help me identify?
plant ID?
It looks like some kind of arrowhead (Sagittaria) to me.
I think so, too. What size is it? It does look like an arrowhead.
I am not sure what they are, but I have a lot of them on vines. They are very invasive.
We, too, have a very invasive vine with an arrowhead-shaped leaf. But I don't think it's the same as this one. I've heard this vine referred to as Mile-a-Minute Vine, which is certainly appropriate since it appears to grow about that fast. The leaves are shaped differently and it has a woody-type stem with thorns.
I agree that it looks like an arrowhead plant (sagittaria), but I don't know which one. Reminds me a lot of the arrowhead plants that were sold as house plants back in the 60s. Sagittaria all appear to be wetland plants which would make sense as it was found on the bank of a creek.

Here's a photo of Mr. Invasive Vine:
I think it looks like Peltandra sagittifolia, white arrow-arum. It would be obvious if we knew what the flowers look like. Peltandra's flowers look like callas - Sagittaria's flowers have petals like a 'regular' flower.

Yep, could be.
