June Blooms (Starting May 30th)

Deep East Texas, TX(Zone 8a)

Or if you "want" seeds, I still have lots from last year. That was the first year I saved these seeds. See what happens when you don't deadhead, they will take over the world! Best part is the butterflies love them. They start easily from seed so if you would like, just Dmail me with your address.

My clematis vine started blooming this past week. Purple Leatherflower, Clematis pitcheri. It's been so hot and sunny it's hard to even keep some things even alive, but this plant is okay with it...of course, most of it is in a pretty shady area.

I really enjoyed the pond pictures, I am in the process of making my pond a little bigger.
On my have- to- get list today, I have beebalm and texas bluebells. I hope that it is not too late to plant them.

Placenciarita ~ your Lilies & Begonias photo has the nicest composition. I love the sun enlightening the background. What a moving photo!

Not a flower but I love the "bloom" on this plant.

I know of nothing lovelier than the great white datura

Place, your lily/begonia picture inspires me......my lilies need to be moved this fall......taller(great) things have grown up in them and I can barely see the lilies.....

The Black Currant Swirl is Datura, AKA Devil's Trumpet, morganc.

It is in an outdoor pot year round, dies back to the ground in winter, then comes back in the spring. A persistent bloomer.
