Peace Rose a little stressed from lack afternoon sun. Help!

Hi,
Im new to site and have a question about caring for hybrid tea rose peace rose. Well here goes............ plant seems to be doing well. I planted it in an eastern location it gets about 4 hours of morning sunlight. Except one problem at around noon sun is being blocked by really large maple tree, which allows some dapple light until 2 pm. Then sun hits it again for another 2 hours. Problem is when it hits noon time the rose starts to drop. Can shrub survive with only 4 hour of morning sun, some afternoon shade? Not sure if this is stressing the shrub out, since they are known for being very finicky. Please respond to unusual question.
