How do I seperate the large clumps of Iris that are growing along my garage? It is a 25 foot long stretch that ranges from 2-4 feet wide. And is one time of year better than another?
Thank you!
Too many Iris in one spot
Dig them up and gently pull apart. Do not cut off the tops. Don't plant any deeper than they were originally planted.
Iris's are hardy, and will take alot. You can do this now, or after blooming. I just did my mom's last week, and they are blooming now.
