I've noticed that Plant Starter type fertilizers and BloomBooster type fertilizers have very similar contents. They all have a higher proportion of phosphate than nitrogen or potassium, and most have added iron and possible other minerals. Can I use BloomBooster types for the same purposes as Plant Starter types? That is, for transplants, to encourage root growth.
Note - I'm not a beginner gardener, but I couldn't find a forum anywhere else that seemed appropriate for this question. Is there one I couldn't find for plant nutrition (I did see a sponsored one, but that didn't seem appropriate - since it's sponsored. Maybe I'm wrong here?????)
Diff between Plant Starter type fertilizers and BloomBooster
The plant starter ones may have some additional vitamins and things to help get the roots going which the bloom boosters wouldn't. There are also root boosters like Super thrive that you can buy which just have vitamins and things with no fertilizer, and in my opinion those would be the best to use for things you just planted, it's not good usually to fertilize right away, you need to let them get their roots going a bit first or else it's too easy to burn them.
