liquid fertilizer for acidic plants?

Palo Alto, CA(Zone 10b)

Can anyone recommend a liquid fertilizer for acidic plants? The soil around my azaleas and camelias is so compact there's no safe way to work in anything granular. Any suggestions for soil amendments or mulch that could help improve the soil without being worked in?

Jerry Baker says: try vinegar and water. I I think it's 4w to 1v.
One soaking should do for the season. Don't know how much rain you might get, but, if you get more than 2 soakers, you may want to do it again.

Be careful with the vinegar and water--vinegar can also act as an herbicide. Diluted it'll obviously be less potent, but I'd still be careful. Also vinegar and water has no nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium so it is not a fertilizer. So if you're trying to acidify your soil maybe it might have some impact but it won't fertilize the plants.
