Can Crazy Daisy (Shasta Daisy) be moved at this time of year? I have a place that I want something that will take over. I have Kwanzo daylily there, but it is a really big and steep hill.

Crazy Daisy
I would say that shasta daisy is very resilient and can be moved anytime. Try to take a large clump, so as not to disturb the roots too much.

I just moved a large clump of Shastas a couple of weeks ago. It pouted for a while but I kept it shaded and well watered and now you can't tell it was recently moved (and we're a lot hotter down here than you are).
Thanks all, I moved a large clump today. Watered them good, now just waiting to see how they do. I am waiting until I have time to do the reeeeealllly large group later this week. I moved my Blackberry Lily on to that hill today also.
