Nanny...I can't believe all the babes you are seeing...I must start looking more closely as I've not seen any that I know of!! I've got an idea...send me some babe karma!!

I must have missed something.....there is not a thing wrong with the roadrunner pics, they are wonderful. If the Roadrunner killed another bird, that's a shame, but just nature. Most of us have Hawks that do that, not Roadrunners.

Super Gardenpom glad there was just some weird miscommunication. I thought perhaps you were a militant vegetarian or something, sending crazy Dmails. VERY Anti-Meat! Mwahahahah.

Don't you think that piece of meat looks like a little buffalo chicken wing/drummette? Thought that perhaps there was a Roadrunner Sportsbar nearby!

Very pretty cardinal Nanny - with the spring green leaves.

A mama Robin built a nest in the spouting of the workshop, right up against the garage. Smart bird. Gosh, when I was mowing the grass last week, and again today while we were working on the plantings, she nearly parted our hair!

There are many nests with babies along the brushline, but I cannot get pictures of them. Drat!

The only way I know of to get a picture of those babies is to park the 10 foot stepladder out on the lawn beyond the workshop and see if I can get a shot from there. That will not disturb her or the nest.

Thanks for noticing there is no more snow :)) I'm catching up to you guys, My crabapples is just about to bloom too. And that is spectacular.

This is my Crabapple about to burst open, with a bonus in it, a small hummer, with his shinny green back.

Your Crabapple looks great Burn, especially with the little Hummer in it! We just planted one today...I hope it grows fast! LOL! I'm betting the Robin won the prize!

Took the dog through the neighborhood park and saw a good number of birds *other* than HOSP's and Starlings. :D

And a fledgling in the bushes - maybe a robin? maybe a starling? or maybe something else entirely...

Also saw a good number of swallows (to fast to catch pictures of this time). Canada geese (of course). And a great blue heron that I just missed, but KT says was gorgeous.

Oh pretty rogue, Love the family shot and the Redwing with those tiny flowers. Very nice.

Calling all bird EXPERTS - what are the chances for survival for this one? Any encouragement? How is it flying? I would be good with "It's some weird kind of moulting. Bird will be okay."
