Hellebores - When and what to feed

I read somewhere that I should feed Hellebores and acid fertilizer after they bloom. Does that sound right?

I have a large patch and only a few of them have any blooms left on them. Can someone recommend a good acid fertilizer that would be widely available?

Chris, I don't feed mine much. I just give them a little manure. Do you have any available? Right after the blooms are gone you could try that.
