Looking for this plant or the correct name for it. I had one before and it had runners on it like the spider plant. It was green but with some sun, would get purple in the leaves. I do not have a picture of it.
Scotsman Pipe
Not sure if it's sometimes called Scotsman Pipe...but sounds like Callisia fragrans.
I've never heard of any plant called Scotsman Pipe and when googling can't find anything. I think Nan may be right ... sounds exactly like Callisia fragrans (Basket Plant): http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/54577/
