Paula, I love yours too!!!!! ^_^

Beautiful flowers everyone!
Paula, I love that davidcummingii, mine is not doing too good right now. I got it from Asiatica, it was planted in the orchid mix. I just decided to plant it in my soil because it's not doing too well after 7-8 month later. I hope mine bounce back and flower for me one day.

Green H. kerrii

Entire plant - if someone has a more graceful way of displaying this hoya, I'd love to know. When I try to bend the vines onto the bamboo support, they snap like green beans.

Julia,

That is a beautiful H. Kerrii, and it looks pretty graceful to me.

Julia...that is a nice plant!!!!!

H. 'Snowball', blooming at long last. This plant was kind of a mystery- some other forum members have bought a plant by this name from Smoley's (where I got mine from) and had their plants bloom bright pink. This one, true to the name, has large white clusters of flowers.
I took some close-ups and made comparisons, looks like a carnosa flower to me! Maybe a hybrid with fungii???

Wow! Now that is a nice bloom! Looks like it's almost frozen. Really pretty!

The whole plant. Pretty leaves- thick, dark green and heavily splotched with silver flecks.

Nice plants and flowers!

Oooh ... That is one beautiful plant!

I might be in trouble ... I've just been perusing the Bob Smoley's Gardenworld site.

I have been swearing I am going to downsize because I have so many plants. Maybe I should get rid of everything and concentrate just on hoya's. ^_^ My husband says he is going to retire in another 6 years so I will be getting rid of most plants ... will have to keep three or four to travel either on a boat or in a motor home! I just can't live without a couple of green growing plants traveling the waterways or roadways!

Nice 'Snowball' Mark!!! You think it could be a different clone of H. motoskei?

San Francisco, CA(Zone 10a)

I was thinking the same thing, Carol - my H. motoskei is blooming right now (see further up the thread) and the flowers look similar.

San Francisco, CA

It could be. I haven't done much research into the carnosa group, and don't know what makes each species different. I've looked at closeups comparisons of carnosa and motoskei- motoskei is a little larger, but I don't see much else different.
I'm going to look into it and try to find out what exactly 'Snowball' may be.

San Francisco, CA(Zone 10a)

The leaves are a lot thicker/harder than motoskei. That's the biggest difference I could discern.

My cv. Jennifer had opened when we got home today from Las Vegas, what a nice surprise!!

Here is my Kentiana (I believe) that I purchased last year at a newly re-opened greenhouse and it came unmarked. Can't detect any smell. Close up shot was just too fuzzy. Maybe operator error? LOL

Very nice! Looks like H. kentiana: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/57676/

I have one of the Exotic Angel plants that someone said is H. kentiana, lots of new growth this spring, but no blooms yet.

San Francisco, CA

This is exciting- I found buds on H. dickasoniana today. This one is like a miniature H. bella.

Oh, how cute is that! Love those leaves, hope you will post another photo when the bloom opens too!

San Francisco, CA(Zone 10a)

Too cute, Mark!

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

Really neat, Mark...the blooms will be cool against that dark green leaf!!!!
