This year I think because I used Sea Magic Seaweed, my Impatiens are 12" to 14" tall already before I have planted, with lots of flowers. Because they are so tall, has anybody had SUCCESS planting them deeper with success and not rotting.
Planting Impatiens Deeper?
I could be wrong, but I think the only time you can get away with planting things deep like that is when they're still seedlings, I wouldn't do it with a plant that's already big and blooming (I'm not sure if Impatiens seedlings could be planted deep anyway, but I think it's probably too late now). You'll sacrifice blooms for a while, but you could try pinching them to make them a bit bushier.
