Wonderful pictures everyone.

CM, love all of those babies.

Sorry to hear about the Osprey, Pelle. Very sad thing to happen.

I have some pictures on the camera taken during the week. Have to download them and see what is there.

These two Mourning Doves spent a considerable amount of time sitting in this tree. Must have had a lot to discuss.

Wrecking = bugs. Certainly glad that I have a different diet.

My little blue buddy showed up again. He didn't seem to mind the large Red Bellied Woodpecker on the tree behind the feeder.

Me too.

This pair of Red Bellied Woodpeckers have a nest somewhere across the road. They come and eat at the feeder, usually one at a time and then take some food back to the nest. Today, in the rain, they showed up at the same time. Not much light to take these pictures, but wanted to share anyway.

Female on right.

Note male on left.

Look at the mess the Grackles have made of this feeder. They are devouring what they want and wasting the rest.

I've been lurking the past few days and enjoying the wonderful variety of photos. I got out a bit this afternoon, but there were no obliging tweeters out there for me, excetp good old Grampa Muscovy. He has lots a kids and grandkids in our neighborhood, and is always hanging out at our place.

WOW what amazing photos! Here are our little guys..they grow so much every day...I will certainly try to get out there tomorrow and take some more shots. As I walk around our yard checking out all the planties I am noticing a whole new orchestra! I need to see who is in the bluebird house up top and what families are living in the birdhouse gourd and carved old man face birdhouse on the side of the barn this year. Think I saw a housewren in the gourd. Has anyone ever seen a cardinal nest? We have a couple pairs of mom and dads but have never seen a nest.

Red Bellied!! Geez, Pelle, I have no idea why I keep doing that. I know better. Guess there is no sense in wasting being stupid--might as well show it!!
DUH!! Thanks.
