Need help on where to plant 3 trees please

Millbury, MA

I have been given a Kwanzan Cherry, a River Birch and an Eastern Red Bud. I was wondering how far away I would want to plant these beauties from my stamp concrete walkway or my well because of the roots these babies will develope later in life. I don't know the first thing about landscaping but am excited for whatever the future holds with advise coming my way. Thanks for the time and knowledge!

Far away, no closer than 30 feet. All those trees get big and tend to have surface roots.

We have some big flowering trees here too>

I would suggest looking each up in the plant files or google them to get info on how big they will get and how far out there roots will stretch. If you have a septic tank keep distance from that in mind as well.

They are beautiful trees keep them far enough apart to take full advantage of their beauty.

Thanks so much for the response. I tried to google the trees, however I wasn't smart enough to find how far the roots would stretch. Just when I was at my peek of frustration, I stumbled upon this fantastic site that has great reading and learning. I am fortunate to only have a well to worry about no septic. I think I will not plant anything even near the well!
