My husband just cut down about 12 holley bushes that were lining the front of our home. They were doing fine, we just weren't crazy about them. We will have to get rid of the roots first, however, I was wondering if there is a shrub that you all like best. We get full sun there in the hottest part of the day.
I would like something that doesn't require alot of maintinence. We have boxwoods lining the other half of our home. We'll be keeping those.
Thanks so much for your help.
What to plant as a foundation shrub in front of my house?
ROSES!! If you don't want a lot of maintenance, don't go with the body bag ht's. I would go with own root shrub roses of some sort.
