I have a few pepper plants that seem to have cross-pollinated. My jalapenos are bulbous and my bells are small and a bit spicy. Does anyone know if there's a way to reverse this problem or if I should just start out with new plants and keep them further apart? Thanks
pepper problem, can anyone help?
Cross pollination shouldn't affect this year's peppers, it would affect next years if you save seeds from these and grow them. The only way this year's peppers would be weird is if you're growing them from seeds that you saved from last year (or maybe got seeds from someone else who had a bunch of different peppers growing in proximity). Or maybe the plants were mislabeled?
