I Just transplanted a Japanese maple in my back yard I just plant it last year do you think I hurt it or should it be okay

A lot depends on how much of its rootball came along with it--if you got most of the roots and if you water properly then it should be OK (although it'll probably suffer from some transplant shock). But if you didn't get enough roots along with it, then it will struggle a lot more and may not make it. Make sure you're extra careful on the watering--the plant has less roots right now than it needs, so if you have a warm day it won't be able to take up water as fast as it needs to, and this can cause the plant to wilt even if there's enough water in the soil. So don't just water if you see it wilting, stick your finger down in the soil and make sure that it's drying out and actually needs it. But don't let it dry out either.
