Mandevilla
Hi ton129
Welcome to Dave's Garden. You would have better luck getting an answer to your question by posting it in the beginner gardening forum here: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/f/b_gardentalk/all/ There's lots of knowledgeable people over there.
This forum that you posted to is for help with the PlantFiles database, and not so many people frequent this forum.
Good luck!
Joan
Hi ton129, Mandevilla is a tropical plant so honestly with the low temperatures you have I don't think you'll be able to keep it outside, if you want a guarantee that it'll survive the winter you'll need to bring it in. But if you want some other opinions, you will get more answers if you post in the Beginner Gardening forum. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/f/b_gardentalk/all/ This forum is for questions about the Plant Files database, for questions about taking care of plants the Beginner Gardening forum is a better place to start.
Hi! I'm new to some types of plants. I was given a Mandevilla plant for Mother's Day. The buds are falling off before opening. Can anyone out there help me or tell me how to keep this from happening? I'd appreciate any comments.
My mandevilla plant is in a pot with a bamboo trellis, in the house!. does it need alot of sun or shade? Why are the buds falling off before opening? How often to water, moist or dry soil? Please help!!!!!!!!
