Hi guys, its the first year me and my mum have bought some fruit and veg to grow in our lovely small greenhouse, all i wanted was to grow strawberrys, but we now have a variety to grow, and one is a cucumber!
We have got two female cucumbers growing in seperate tubs, but the question is, do to we need a male one, to produce a good, tasty cucumber? Would be really grateful for some advice.
Thanks
K
Cucumbers!
Depends on the cultivar, Many which are designed for greenhouses are parthenocarpic and need no pollination. (seedless cukes)
