How do you treat Eucalyptus after you cut it to preserve it?

I am getting ready to put my Eucalyptus plants outside and when they mature I want to cut them to sell. How do you prepare them for the customer? Do you dry them in a special way?
Are they treated with something or sprayed with something? Thank you in advance.
