DH just brought home 7 new planters (used lick buckets) and brought them home full of rabbit and cow dung
The native rabbits have been out for about 2 years, so it isn't fresh ( its been in the shade under the cages)
The cow *stuff came out of the pens so some might be fresh.
I container garden now, here in the city. We brought some of this stuff for the flowerbeds years ago, and we now have a wonderful amount of earthworms in the ground.
my problem... I need the pots Now
Would I be able to use/mix any of this in with the new potting soil for the new pots? What mixture? would it be to hot for earthworms? Does anyone know?
or should i just pile it up and make a makeshift compost pile for now.
Geez.. if I was in the country, I would just spread it out, till it in, water it down etc etc..
Questions re rabbit fert and cow fert
