Guess we're about halfway through spring already - hard to believe! Post any photos of your beauties - foliage or flowers.
Here is 'Blushing Lady' again.
Spring Blooms - Part 7
Celeste, I don't believe in all of Victor's bloomers either!!
I've always said that I don't believe in bloomers!
Victor, you are right, it is Summer Wine. I actually remembered it as being Diablo, but I found the tag in my tag box and you are exactly right...Summer Wine. LOL
Hee hee. They're close. I guessed Summer because of the tighter structure.
Ladies' mantle
Nice green bed, Daisy. No Green Envy echinacea??
Green Envy and hot pink would look so nice together.
Yes, it's one of my faves. Love the 'quicksilver' quality of the water drops.
Victor, I like those Green Envy echinacea, but do you think they'd work in the shade?
Probably not. They do need at least four or so hours of sun. More for better bloom.
Dogwalker, I love it when the flower petals fall all over the ground like that and look like snow.
Was Green Envy new for you last year, Al?
Yes, it was pretty healthy all year so I'm not worried yet. After Midnight that flowered and then declined looks like a goner. I will generalize and say that Terra Nova plants are 'tougher' than Big Sky ones.
My Pink Double Delight looks like it has returned fine.
I would imagine, Razz and Coconut Lime are up already here.
great pictures today everyone... been outside all day working... will post my photos tomorrow... hurts so good but i am going to pass out now... night
ohhhh...... I'm always up for another show! It's a good one! I always like seeing hellebores.... 3rd, 4th, 50th time.... it doesn't matter.
love the "green garden" daisy. don't think that I've really seen one before. A friend of mine has a phlox david that threw out some green flowers a few years ago. We divided it from the rest of the plant and it's been growing green every since. last years cuttings were actually coming along really well until the sprinkler system went down and no one noticed that they dried out and died. So, we're going to try for some more cuttings this year and see how it goes. The parent plant is actually almost large enough to divide again. So, I assume we should keep you in mind for when the cuttings take off? It might need a sunnier location though.
love the rainy tulips, pixie!
I wish I had more cherry trees so I could have pink snow that's warm!
Victor.do you have a plant "wish list"? or do you just have everything (that's hardy)? :-p
Only a couple more work pics today.
