Here is my poppy, just like Tills...lol
What's Blooming Outside Your Door, Part 2
cocoajuno..very nice raised beds. Wish I had room to make some
like those. Also I like your neon green chair!!
Murmur..love your frog garden..They sure must eat well with those round bellies! ribit!
Cocoa you do good work. I remember when my place looked all new and tidy. 20 years ago. I have the montana clematis, the white one. Love it. That beautiful around the window.
Murmur ~ Way to go. Good that you're getting outside. The outside light will help lift your spirits (as will certainly working in the garden!). Love the frogs...what personality!
Carla ~ Wow...so much and so beautiful and still so much to do! I love your clematis on the arbor. And the raised beds. How cool are those? The birdhouse roof is awesome as well. Keep posting updates so we can see your progress!
Wow, you have been busy, just love it.
I Want Want a piece of Jessi, just love that color Ooomy.
In the pic the columbine look pink, its supposed to be blue?
Thats cool
^_^
Thanks everyone,
I am redoing most of my garden areas. My dog area garden will be tropical, so I bought many canna tuber/roots? I also started some Elephant Ears and Caladium. I will be digging some of my duplicate Dahlias and replacing them with new and exciting ones. I also started some new Agastache's and Salvia's too. Oh and some new Coneflowers also...It will be a fun year for photography...lol I also have some more TB Iris coming from a co-op! I am so excited, I decided I should have things I really like planted and get rid of the so so plants....so it is redo time! I will have a lot to trade for the fall swap.
I hope you all love your Montana Clematis as much as I do, it has been in for 8 years and has been a lot of work to keep them trimmed...I have two, I could have gotten away with one the way it grows. I will hard trim it after this bloom because it is getting a little out of control...lol My DH says it is a hair helmet, but he loves the smell.
Tills...lol my columbine is pink, I didn't know it was supposed to be blue...pink is my favorite color so it is perfect for me!
I will keep you in mind for the Iris, it will probably take one more year to have enough of this one to share...you are 1st in line!
Hoping for a repeat heated weekend again...lol,
Carla
Oneanjl...I think I need to copy that pot idea too! I will do herbs in one and lettuce's in the other....I was going to do lettuce in pots anyway...what a great idea. Thanks!
Carla.
I wonder if the seeds went true, or from one I planted and never came back? lost on this, all who got one from me let Know what color they are.
Speaking of helmet hair cuts, I got my DH, giving them. Had to laugh tho, can't hurt them, and they needed it.
This was the the worst place to have planted this, now I can't get rid of it, tried a made a bigger problem, now its a hedge, was a lilac.
was the first one he did.
Glad she is safe, that could hurt as small as she is. LOL
The next hair cut was the juniper, used to be a pom pom top. like that will stay that way, another one of my rescued plants, had a broken branch, and a little elect. tape on the break all new again. had him for many years branch intack.
Have to find the old pic.
Bea, I love the birdhouse! :o) I just gotta push my DH a little hardre to get mine built so I can paint it and perch it on top! although he IS pouring more cement this weekend and building me to arbors with gates :o) whoo hoo! LOL! so I guess I'll just have rebar sticking out of the top of mine for a while :o)
I didnt come up with the tippy pot idea ladies :o) it was in a magazine and another DGer built one, and then everyone on that thread built one the next day :o) I think they are contagious lol!
I think it will be perfect for my mom for herb, so thinking of doing one for her just outside her door and planting herbs in it. she wont have to bend over to pick the herbs which will make gardening that much more easier and fun for her :o)
Tills, I love how your bed turned out... the one next to your deck? isnt that the one that you were just redoing a few months ago? it's looking great!
Yes, that is the one, I was weeding it when my DH went lopper happy. LOL
Lol, sounds like my DH... I grow it and he mows it DAWN! lol!
I started seedlings... and he 'helped' by drowning them! I think he actually washed them away cause nothing sprouted! Now he's trained to just clean the house and build stuff :oD LOL! he knows that if its growing, its MINE to deal with... well cept his veggies! lol!
I'm going to do a pot tower for a raffle prize next year at the plant sale.
tilly, thats a cute lil fence...where are you going to put it?
It will have a home when my DH the builder, ever gets my new deck built. LOl
Still waiting.......
