Should I prune-away slug eaten rose leaves?

Stafford, VA(Zone 7a)

Hi, I have inherited a rose bush from the previous owners of my house. I am an absolute newbie in gardening including roses. I did my best in the fall to prune the rose bush correctly and now it is about to have at least 14-16 blooms. However, much of the leaves have holes and are yellowed due to rose grubs. I sprayed them this morning w/an organic pesticide, but should I prune away the affected leaves or just leave them be?

Thanks for any advice!!

I'd probably leave them--if you have leaves that have been attacked by a fungal disease then it can be advantageous to prune them off to prevent further spread of the disease. But when they've only been chewed by insects, as long as there's still some green leaf left it is still helping the plant out, and especially if you have a lot of chewed leaves it might look a bit unsightly but if you take them all off and leave the plant with very few leaves it may not be able to do enough photosynthesis to support itself. If there's only a couple leaves though that are damaged and you've got a ton of nice green ones then it wouldn't be a big deal to remove them.
