I'm a brand new gardner. What does regular watering mean? Does it mean on a specific day every week? Every other day?
Watering?
Yes, regular watering means they're on a scheduled regimen. This is mostly used for newly planted plants.
Anybody else for more info?
I would define regular watering as not letting the plant dry out completely between waterings (but generally plants that come with these instructions don't like to be left soaking wet all the time either, it's a happy medium between the plants that need tons of water and plants that are drought tolerant). You can't really do a set schedule for watering since how often the plant needs water is going to depend on a lot of factors like how hot your weather is, etc. To decide if you need to water, I'd stick your finger down a couple inches into the soil, if it feels dry then go ahead and water, but if it's still feeling pretty damp I'd hold off.
