anyway...no females sighted here yet either...I can't believe how they shovel the seed in with those big beaks!
By the way, how do you pronounce 'Grosbeak'?

Wow Great pics Everyone!!
Congrats on all the new birds!
Great pics today everyone!
Nanny...congrats on the new bird...I'm still watching for one!
GG...I think your BlueJays have arrived...they are all acting loony and there are lots of them!!!
Murmur...So nice to hear from you and hope to see some of your pics real soon!
I thought I had a new bird today but it turned out to be a Female House Finch. Haven't seen one for a long time...I guess she's just passing through.
Is that a good thing or a bad thing wallaby? So handsome though!
Depends on how pushy he gets . . . that beak could give a nasty peck, if he decides the supply is not up to his demands!
Resin
Very nice pics Rose and wallaby!
Rose I can't begin to tell you how may times I've looked out in the yard thought I had a new bird and it turned out to be a female House Finch!
I don't think good or bad nanny, I just hope he doesn't get bumped on the road or the unqestionable. It could be because I have been feeding birds and he picks up the scraps, clever thing knows who puts it there, lol, it's fummy having a Pheasant patrolling the garden daily.
Thanks pelle.
Resin, he's not pushy, but I guess could get to be. Yesterday he ran to me from the neighbour's back yard when I was by the fence, no food but there was a peanut coloured stone about the size of a peanut on the ground he kept trying to eat!
A starling on the guttering with a caterpillar for it's young, poor caterpillar.
Glad they arrived safely Rose. LOL
adelbertcat - Just beautiful!
Very nice pics adel, just beautiful!
But that's what I said, Pelle! :)

Very nice pics Wallaby...that Pheasant is something else! I showed your pics to DH and he Loves them!

Frank...OMG...I love that BB pic!
GG...Cool about the nest!
I had two new birds today...one is an Eastern Kingbird and the other is a shorebird. I don't know if my pics turned out.
Love the pheasant Wallaby.
Chisolm, that Bluebird picture is wonderful.
The mama Cardinal was on the nest again at dusk.
Looks like your Indigo is settling in. Love your colorful birds. Most of mine have left now.
Hi GP! My respect for you increases everytime I try and get a pic of this little fella! I don't know how you got so many outdoor shots...grrrrr. I actually had 2 of them the other day and was afraid to go outside for fear I would scare them off! This little one is right outside my window so I can at least watch him. It thrills me everytime I see him!!
Nanny, lucky you, "twofer" Red Bellied Woodpeckers!
Love the beautiful colorful birds Rose. Let me know if you need more Blue Jays. Good heavens, I have never seen this number of Jays around here.
Lucky you, too, with the Oriole and the Bunting. Wish some would come my way.
