Pond - the grass will soon be hiding the neighbor's shed.

your pond is really beautiful.
The shed doesn't bother me. Maybe it's just who ownes it.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

No, the neighbors are nice but the shed is distracting.

Marietta, NY(Zone 5a)

Gorgeous pond. My duck would love that, but I can guarantee you wouldn't love the duck.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks. I'm in the middle of replacing the pump - that's why the waterfall is not going. You can keep the duck!

Marietta, NY(Zone 5a)

Ahhh, you must have had some experience with ducks. Messy little buggers. Likes to eat plants like water lilies, too.

Marlborough, MA(Zone 5b)

All this duck talk is "quacking" me up (sorry)

(Zone 7b)

Victor, is that lemonbalm invasive? Lovely colour.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes it is. I'm sorry I planted it, but I leave a few around. Smells more like Lemon Pledge than real lemons.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

Not quite in full bloom - soon though. Jealous of Victor so here goes.

A close up of the redbud blooms - this tree was a stick from the auburn society at one time. My wife thought I was nuts with the stick farm I had. Everything goes up eventually.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Looking good, Bill! Wow - 9 years for the first flowers. I'm sure you'll savor it!

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

what a great "covey" (or lavender twist) redbud. I think that tey look good just about anywhere.

sorry about your frost again pixie :-( I know how frustrating that is. what blooms on my magnolia elizabeth didn't freeze off, turned white and are stil white with brown.

Jo Ann---you walls look great! nice work!

victor.... this blushing lady tulip would fit great into one of my color schemes. Do you think that the moles and gophers would leave it alone? Or are you lucky enough to not have any of the critters? Even if I do manage to get rid of one of the buggers, more will come since the area around me is mostly forests.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Don't have those, but I do have lots of deer and usually don't grow tulips. These are in my 30 inch high veggie boxes and will have to be re-planted in the ground. At that point I will spray them and hope.

Here are two Duchess of Edinburgh clematis buds.
