Looking for help identifying this plant. I have provided the picture with a red box around the plant in question. Thanks for your assistance.
Identify this plant
Is that your house in the pic? The reason I ask is that it looks like Philodendron bipinnatifidum (although a closeup would help because there are some other related plants that have similar looking leaves) but there's no way that's going to be hardy in Saint Louis and it looks too big to be something you're bringing in every winter. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/37036/
No this is not my home. This is a picture I pulled off the web. I am trying to get some landscaping ideas and this is a plant I was interested in. Thanks for the assistance.
Unfortunately that one's not going to be hardy for you. I'm not sure what zone you're in, but something you might consider instead is Tetrapanax papyrifer. The leaves don't have quite the same shape as the philodendron, but they are large and the plant might be able to give you a similar effect in your landscape. And Plant Files lists it as hardy to zone 6 so it might have a chance to be hardy for you. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/53663/
