tilly,
I like that area off to the right in your first pic. The rocks, and pot/fountain. Do you happen to have a closer pic of that?
Nice picture tils. It was great to meet everyone and put names to faces. Katie59 was the only one I knew who she was before I met her. Strange. Strange sentence also. Fun day and it was warm even if it did rain a little. Beautiful nursery. Will return.
I am a camera bug, LOL still have more to post in AM, Gordon you need to rest you neck LOL
Wow do I feel all fuzzy headed! Must be the long day and taking my meds on a empty stomache! My typing is going south fast too! So one more pic! This is more of a look and see what I got pic! Wish I could tell you what all there.
Two hostas fron Jim, and thank you Jim! I will show these off all the time now!!
I can't remember the other trade plants. Oh except for the puya alpestris, it's sitting next to me! And thank you very much for all the plants you have given me Mellisa! They are some of the coolest ones, especially my whetakaka.
And I love you Heidi, you are the best! I will be a great customer for you for along time!I sure love looking UNDER the tables!

Great show!
Gordon, go to bed immediately! Your meds have kicked in. I bought two of those poppies and cannot for the life of me remember the name of them. Wanted to get about 20 of them, but I already had to put 1/2 of the plants i wanted back on the wagon. Better start making some more leaves to support this habit I have. Trust Heidi to have the coolest poppies I've ever seen.
And while I am at it, can someone tell me why in almost every photo of me walking around at Dragonfly, I have this look on my face like I'm trying to memorize zoological categories and can't keep them straight. Only thing I can think is that I must be concentrating so hard on studying the gardens that I cannot focus on anything else. So if anyone tried to have an actual conversation with me and found me lacking, I think I was having an extended estrogen moment, so my apologies. I just always have the furrowed brow when I'm at her place! Must be all the learning that is going on, but I do hope my faces doesn't 'freeze' in that expression! OUch!
Here's where the poor doggies were during the visit! They are so sweet, but there are so many of them! LOL!
My new favorite plant in the entire world. Elegia capensis. What form! What texture! What movement! How soft to the touch! It's like Stipa on steroids. I bought one at Cistus down in oregon, and then found I had to have another one. It's highly possible that I will need more of these. Isn't that what one is supposed to do? Plant large drifts of plants one loves??
Okay,, I asked Heidi twice what this is. She told me twice. I do have two ears, so it was in one ear and out the other both times. I must see it in print for my memory to record it. What is this????? I MUST HAVE IT!!! (no. I am not spoiled rotten, for your information. Addiction is about physical need. )
Last photo of her bog, not leafed out yet. I want one of these, too. My bog is too small and is very boring compared to this bog. Do you use well water in the summer in this bog, Heidi? See that's the issue with true bog gardens when you live in town. The water is not good for the bog plants. Too many chemicals, too high mineral content. Distilled water is costly. How do you water yours?
It was very nice to meet Neofarmer and Willow! Hope to see you at another gathering soon!
Hi everyone. First off a huge Thank you for all coming and I wish the weather was a little better. my garden is a little behind and not a huge spring garden then I'm re planting things so some are works in progress which I'm sure we all understand. I wish I could have visited and helped everyone more. Once people leave I say oh I didn't answer that question or didn't talk to so and so very much. If I missed you I'm sorry. Sometimes with a bunch of people I can get scattered.
Storming Gordon, The cool plant is pseudopanax ferox. Very cool. It need a little protected place but I have had that little goofy one in my garden for 4 years up by the greenhouse unprotected.
Pixy The bamboo is chusquea coolio. I think I spelled it wrong but close.
The great yellow poppy is meconopsis napaulensis. Very very cool. I
m so glad you all came and hope to see you all again. Heidi and Dragonfly
tilly,
YES! That is perfect. I love that idea, and have the perfect place to do that...
Pixs Your words.

You where so into it, and kept saying ' shade and texture' shade and texture' ' stop looking at that Melssa Shade and Texture' The reason I pick that one, Its a winner, so much energy and focus, ^_^
Last one for now sun is out and I still got to get the car unloaded, going to be fun with the branches Pix gave me for the birds, her car is bigger than mine Gordon help me get it in, now gordon come over so you can help me get it out. LOL
Funny how Gordon always hid we I was taking pics.
