I heard on tv from a home salesman that you can get free plants from the gardening club have you heard of this also what states have these clubs
question
The Arbor Day Foundation will send you free (sometimes misidentified) trees if you join, is that what you're talking about? The only other thing I can think of is the National Home Gardening Club sends you old packets of free seeds that probably won't germinate from time to time.
If it's the National Home Gardening Club, beware and don't join! They'll send you stuff you didn't ask for and then send you a bill. Get your plants at a local store.
From personal experience NOT to be repeated by this gardener again...be thankful for old seeds that does not germinate. As my pkg of free poppy seeds were actually IMPOSTOR WEEDS that when germinated, appeared like poppies but grew into WEEDS that slung weed seeds all over my yard whenever I was outside gardening! The so called "free gardening stuff" I received to try out, rate and keep, was less than dollar store quality, ineffective and nearly useless in the garden. .... Just save yourself the time and aggravation! Just my little red cent! ;0)
If it sounds too good to be true.....
